Theatre Practitioners Online
We at Theatre Practitioners Online strive hard to achieve perfection for students as well as Instructors.
As a starting-point I have built this platform with my teaching in mind, I’m hoping to put all my teaching methodologies, workshop techniques up on the screen so the teachers can access it from wherever they are in Australia and maybe the world.
I will be inviting other theatre practitioners to offer their workshops so that I will end up building a library of Professional Development workshops from many and varied practitioners I hope that you support me in this endeavour and it will grow to become a valuable resource.

Why Choose Us
Theatre Practitioners Online
Embarking on making available elearning drama modules, I felt that I would come under a lot of criticism in that drama cannot be taught through a computer screen and that you have to be in the space, work with other human beings, be all hot and sweaty. I believe that this is true and it would be a sad day if we were never able to experience that. But my vision for the platform is that teachers share their methods - in other words: equitable teaching methodologies. What we need is to share is the the ‘methods’ which in turn creates a high standard of teaching across the board, regardless of the actual classroom’s geographical location..

My teaching methodology and techniques that I had developed over many years were honed by visiting many schools and running workshops. I had a series of improvisational exercises that I developed that gave everyone equal chance to excel. I only realised I was doing this when a teacher during a Professional Development weekend came up to me in a break and told me how much they had enjoyed my methodology of teaching “You explain why and how you setup an improvisation exercise, not just play the exercise as an experience”.
